Requirements: The SAT I or ACT is recommended. A GPA of 2.0 is required. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited secondary school or have a GED. Admission is based on the academic record and a portfolio. An essay is required, and an interview is recommended. AP and CLEP credits are accepted. Important factors in the admissions de¬cision are evidence of special talent, advanced placement or honor courses, and recommendations by school officials.
Procedure: Freshmen are admitted in the fall. Application deadlines are open; there is a $30 fee. Notification is sent on a rolling basis. A waiting list is an active part of the admissions procedure.
