Procedure: Freshmen are admitted to all sessions. Entrance exams should be taken during the first semester of the senior year. There is an early admissions plan. Application deadlines are open, along with a $50 fee. Notification is sent on a rolling basis.
Transfer: Applicants must have completed at least 12 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or better. A minimum composite score of 920 on the SAT or 18 on the ACT is recommended. 30 credits of 124 must be completed at Chaminade.
Visiting: There are guides for informal visits and visitors may sit in on classes. To schedule a visit, contact the Admissions Office.
Financial Aid: A $5000 renewable scholarship is available to qualifyŽing students with a GPA of 3.5 or above. Chaminade is a member of CSS. The CSS/Profile, FAFSA, FFS or SFS is required. The fall application deadline is March 15.
International Students: In a recent year, 182 international students were enrolled. The school actively recruits these students. They must score 450 on the TOEFL and also take the MELAB, the college’s own test, or the college’s own entrance exam. SAT I or the ACT is also recŽommended.
Computers: The mainframe is a DEC PDP 11/24. 41 PCs are availŽable in the computer science center and the writing lab. All students may access the system. There are no time limits and no fees.
