Special: MNU offers nondegree study, cross-registration with the Christion College Coalition, study abroad in 4 countries, internships, and a Washington semester. There are accelerated degree programs in management and human relations and in nursing. There is 1 national honor society, and 4 departmental honors programs.

Faculty/Classroom: 63% of faculty are male; 42%, female. 88% teach undergraduates. No introductory courses are taught by graduate students. The average class size in an introductory lecture is 30; in a lab¬oratory, 12; and in a regular course, 15.

Admissions: 90% of the 1997-98 applicants were accepted.

Requirements: The SAT I or ACT is required, with recommended composite scores of 18 on the ACT and 670 on the SAT I. A GPA of 2.0 is required. Candidates for admission should be graduates of an ac¬credited secondary school. The GED is accepted. Students should have completed 15 units of study, including 4 units of English and 3 each of natural science, social studies, and math. An essay is optional. AP and CLEP credits are accepted.

Procedure: Freshmen are admitted to all sessions. Entrance exams should be taken during the senior year. There is an early admissions plan. Applications should be filed by August 1 for fall entry and Decem¬ber 15 for winter entry, along with a $15 fee. Notification is sent on a rolling basis.
