Visiting: There are regularly scheduled orientations for prospective students, including an open house in October and 5 group Saturday programs in the fall. There are guides for informal visits and visitors may sit in on classes and stay overnight. To schedule a visit, contact the Admissions Office.
Financial Aid: In a recent year, 95% of all freshmen and 85% of continuing students received some form of financial aid, 88% of freshmen and 77% of continuing students received need-based aid. The average freshman award was $9900. Of that total, scholarships or need-based grants averaged $5500 ($12,000 maximum); loans averaged $3800 ($8625 maximum); and work contracts averaged $600 ($1000 maximum). 51% of undergraduates work part time. Average annual earnings from campus work are $670. The average financial indebtedness of the 1997 graduate was $12,420. Saint Joe’s is a member of CSS, The CSS/Profile or FAFSA is required.
International Students: In a recent year, 6 international students were enrolled. The school actively recruits these students. Applicants must score 500 on the TOEFL and also take the SAT i and the SAT II: ESL Test.
